YMCA Swimming Award Leader made by Whitehead & Hoag, Newark N.J. 1920s 1930s ? Antique Vintage Condition is "Used" This belonged to my father who was born in 1896 . He was very involved with the YMCA in Kansas, both as a kid and as an adult. I'm guessing at the age of the pin but my dad would have been about 20-24 years old which seems about right from stories that I've heard. The back does not come off like a pin. It looks to be soldered together or all one piece, so probably a buttonhole or lapel button.
