I BELIEVE THIS WAS A PRE-CURSOR TO THE KARAOKE MACHINE. IT WAS DESIGNED TO SING OR PLAY ALONG TO YOUR CASSETTES AND 8-TRACKS. HAS A CASSETTE PLAYER/RECORDER, 8-TRACK PLAYER, 2 MIC/INSTRUMENT INPUTS AND CONTROLS, ECHO EFFECT, SPEED, A BUILT IN 30 WATT AMPLIFIER AND AN 8 INCH WOOFER WITH A 2 INCH CONE TWEETER. MADE IN JAPAN. ALL THE LIGHTS AND FUNCTIONS WORK PROPERLY AND VERY WELL. SOUNDS, RECORDS AND PLAYS REALLY GREAT!! IT WOULD ACTUALLY MAKE A FAIRLY GOOD PUBLIC SPEAKING PA OR MID-WATTAGE GUITAR AMP. STANDS 17-3/8" TALL, AND FAIRLY HEAVY. OPERATES ON 6 D BATTERIES (NOT INCLUDED) OR AC POWER. (THE CORD TUCKS AWAY NICELY IN THE REAR COMPARTMENT. A VERY RARE PIECE, SINCE UNIDEN IS MORE KNOWN FOR COMMUNICATIONS DEVICES. THIS MUST HAVE BEEN ONE OF THEIR FEW DABBLINGS IN THE AUDIO FIELD. Please review all pictures well, the corners have some damage, around the handle, as well as the speaker cover (NOT THE SPEAKER) has some damage to it also. One of the mics is not the original mic, one of them is the original mic. We did test the cassette player & 8 -Track both work with zero issues. The video show this does turn on and work with the mics. Back cover is missing where the cord goes into.
