1936 Motorist Record 2.5”x4”, supplied by Wiley & Mason’s Walk-Over Boot Shop, Glens Falls NY. Bakelite plastic covers, 2 ring binding, 11 pages of 22 filled in (May through November 1936) for motorist Laura Baker of South Glens Falls NY, driving a Buick sedan with full insurance coverage by Glens Falls Indemnity Co. 5 1/2 gallons of gas was a dollar; 8 quarts oil $2.40. In June she travels to Brewster 296 miles. She had her car greased at 1900, 3044, 4150 and 5500 miles. In case of accident, notify Miss Matie Hewitt of Fort Edward. Walk-Over shoes and boots were a popular brand created in 1874.
